Grace: Bible BFF for Women

By downloading or using Grace, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Who may use Grace
You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA/UK), or have the consent of a parent or guardian. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.
2. Your licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Grace on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use.
3. Subscriptions, trial, and billing
Grace Plus unlocks the full library of audio stories, Tea, and premium reading features.
- Annual — US$69.99 per year
- Monthly — US$12.99 per month
- Free trial — 3 days, once per user, where offered.
Key terms:
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account or Google account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the period.
- Cancel anytimein your device’s subscription settings. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the paid period.
- If you cancel during a free trial before it ends, you will not be charged. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Prices may vary by region and may change. We will give notice before a change affects you.
- We do not process payments and cannot issue refunds directly. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
Manage or cancel: iOS — Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Android — Play Store → Subscriptions.
4. Scripture and content
Scripture is presented in the World English Bible, which is in the public domain and delivered through our scripture API. Narration, story retellings, Tea, reflection prompts, artwork, the GraceDove character, and the Grace name and design are owned by Selve and protected by copyright and trade mark law.
Grace offers devotional and educational content. It is not counselling, medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. If you are in crisis or need help, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency service.
Interpretation is offered in good faith and reflects our editorial voice. It is not a statement of any denomination’s official doctrine.
5. Your content
Your reflections and saved verses are yours. You grant us only the limited licence needed to store, back up, and display them to you, and to sync them across your devices. We do not publish them, sell them, or use them to train models.
6. Acceptable use
Do not: copy, resell, or redistribute Grace’s content; reverse engineer, scrape, or attack the service; use it unlawfully or to harass others; or attempt to bypass payment or access controls. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Grace available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change, and we may add, modify, or discontinue parts of the app. Audio and scripture require an internet connection unless already downloaded or cached.
8. Ending your use
You may stop using Grace and delete your account at any time in You → Settings → Account → Delete account. Deleting your account does not cancel your App Store or Play subscription; cancel that separately. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms.
9. Disclaimers and liability
Grace is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Selve is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.
10. Third parties
Grace uses Apple, Google, Railway, Cloudflare, ElevenLabs, and OpenAI to operate. Apple and Google are not responsible for Grace and provide no warranty. These Terms are between you and Selve, not with Apple or Google. Apple and Google are third-party beneficiaries entitled to enforce the relevant provisions.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Grace after that means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
